| Cork confident of Oriel win |
|
Cork City manager Paul Doolin says that this team will go to Oriel Park looking for maximum points. With the Leesiders enjoying a good run of form that has seen them go unbeaten in five matches, Doolin says that his players will be confident of beating Dundalk, even though he admits that the task will be far from an easy one. “Dundalk will not be an easy game for us," he said. "I’m quite happy with how things are going, but it’s still early in the season and we are on a decent run of four wins and a draw in five games. If we can pick up a win tomorrow, it would be fantastic. "It certainly will not be easy, but we have to go there looking for the three points, which would set us up nicely as we have a couple of home games coming up then. I think Dundalk are in a similar position to ourselves, with a new manager and new players and that does take time to gel. I think hopefully the pitch will suit us, as we have players who are very good technically, and we want to try and get a win tomorrow.” |
