| James McCarthy joins Cork City |
|
JAMES McCARTHY has become the latest addition to Tommy Dunne's Cork City squad.   Rebel Army boss Dunne today confirmed the signing of the former 27-year-old Cobh Ramblers goalkeeper.  Dunne told CorkCityFC.net: “James signed yesterday, having trained with us for a couple of days. He comes highly recommended, and he is experienced as well. He won the first division with Cobh a couple of years back, so he knows what this division is like and has experience of winning promotion from the division.  “Work commitments mean he maybe hasn’t fulfilled his potential up to this point, but I am hoping that he will come in and work well with our other two goalkeepers and compete with them for a place in the team.†|
