CorkCityFC.net has been shortlisted for a prestigious Eircom Spider Award in the “Best Sports Website” category.

The event takes place on Thursday 18th November at the Burlington Hotel.

Speaking after the nomination, club webmaster Declan Carey said: “Receiving the nomination is a great honour and a credit to all the work that has been put in by everyone this year. We’ve received enormous support from the fans this season with the website, whether it be photos, contributions or ideas.”

“We basically had to start the entire site from scratch in February and it has grown more and more as the season went on.” Declan is the reigning eircom Spiders Young Designer of the Year having won that award last year.
