The recent improvement in the weather meant both the Youth and Under 17 sides saw action for the first time in a number of weeks.

This weekend it was cup action for both teams. The Under 17's had an easy League Cup Quarter final win over Park United in Bishopstown on Sunday, winning 10-0.

The previous day, Paul Bowdren's Youths had a comfortable 6-0 win over Coachford/Killinardish in a Munster Youth Cup Fifth Round tie. Eoin Kilcommons scored a second half hat trick, while Rory Morrissey bagged a brace with Rob Waters converting a first half penalty to see City safely into the next round.
