Bray without duo for Tallaght trip

Bray Wanderers will have to plan for their first visit to Tallaght Stadium without two of their most experienced players.

Stephen Brennan [pictured right with Hoops captain Shane Robinson], who limped off before half time last Friday at Dalymount Park, will have to sit this one out as his hamstring injury hasn't healed sufficiently, while ex-Rovers defender Derek Pender will also be absent as he has not yet recovered from an ankle injury.

Depending on results elsewhere, Friday's match at the Tallaght Stadium could significantly alter the league table. A win for Shamrock Rovers could put the Hoops into the top three, helping their attempts to secure European football for next season, while victory for the visitors could see Bray jump out of the relegation play-off zone.

The Seagulls have lost only one in their last three, with last week's 2-0 defeat to Bohemians their only blip in recent form following draws against both Dundalk and Derry City.

The Hoops, meanwhile, are undefeated in five league outings and will be looking to record their third straight victory, following wins of St. Patrick's Athletic and Galway United.
