| Seagulls happy to keep stars |
|
BRAY WANDERERS' managerial team of Pat Devlin and Keith Long are delighted to announce that the majority of their promising stars of 2010 are staying with the Seagulls.   Leading scorer Jake Kelly and exciting young talents including Shane O'Neill, Gary Shaw and Dane Massey have all committed their immediate futures to Wanderers.  Manager Devlin is delighted to have quickly tied down the vast majority of last season’s squad on new contracts.  He told www.braywanderers.ie: “We have been working very hard since the end of November and we have now all of last season’s squad signed”  “The effort put in by every player last season was immense; they went above and beyond for the cause so we felt it was only right and fair that we offer all of them new contracts for all their hard work, commitment and dedication to Bray Wanderers”  Assistant Manager Long said “Obviously we are delighted to have most of the lads signed up so early on.  "Last year we had set ourselves a First Division budget and before we knew it we were in the Premier Division and it was too late to bring players in. We built an unbelievable team spirit last season and it goes to show how much playing for Bray means to the players.”  The club has released a list of players committed to playing for Bray Wanderers in 2011:  Goalkeepers: Matt Gregg, Brian Kane  Defenders: Nicky Byrne, Daire Doyle, Colm Tresson, Derek Prendergast, Adam Mitchell, David Webster, Dane Massey, Sean Houston, Shane O’Connor  Midfielders: Dean Zambra, Ian Touhy, Gary Dempsey, Stephen Brennan, David Tyrrell, Chris Shields, Danny O’Connor  Forwards: Shane O’Neill, John Mulroy, Gary Shaw, Jake Kelly |
